Brass has long been an indispensable processing material in precision machinery manufacturing, favoured for its inherent corrosion resistance, natural self-lubricating characteristics, excellent cutting performance and stable dimensional stability after machining. The irregular brass flange plates displayed are typical customized hardware components produced by CNC turn-mill composite processing, widely matched to pneumatic control components, fluid valve assemblies, precision testing instruments and mechanical connection structures across multiple industries.

This batch of flanges integrates special-shaped outer contours, stepped inner bearing holes and distributed threaded mounting holes in a single part. Through one-time clamping and forming on composite machining equipment, the coaxiality of the central inner hole, flatness of the sealing surface and position accuracy of each threaded hole are controlled within micron tolerances. Smooth machined surfaces not only improve the fitting tightness during assembly to effectively prevent medium leakage of fluid pipelines, but the self-lubricating property of brass also reduces friction loss during the long-term reciprocating operation of equipment components, extending the overall service life of the assembly system.

We commonly select H59 and H62 free-cutting brass as raw materials for such flange workpieces. Free-cutting brass can lower tool wear during high-speed mass machining and guarantee consistent product precision between different batches. According to the actual service environment of customers, diversified surface treatment schemes can be provided: passivation treatment for conventional working conditions to resist oxidation and discoloration; nickel plating or gold plating for precision electronic and medical equipment parts to strengthen corrosion resistance and surface finish.

Our workshop provides full-cycle OEM customized service for brass precision parts. We support data processing based on customers’ 3D models and engineering drawings, covering prototype sample verification, small-batch trial production and large-scale mass delivery. Before leaving the factory, all finished brass flanges will undergo strict inspections including thread gauge detection, three-coordinate dimensional measurement and flatness testing to screen out unqualified products and ensure stable matching performance for end equipment.

Compared with iron and stainless steel flanges, brass flanges show more prominent advantages in fluid sealing, assembly smoothness and anti-rust capability, especially suitable for medium and low-pressure fluid circuits and precision instrument connection structures.
